Junior Year

Today was my last day of school. I'm gonna be a senior next year. Damn, when did I get so old..? OTL Anyways, I think this year has been my favorite year of high school. It started off kind of eh... especially when I found out I had math first period (which means I had to go to it every day). Also, I wasn't too thrilled when I found out my Spanish class was full of freshman and I thought chemistry was going to be too hard for me. And I wasn't very excited about taking U.S. history. I've grown up with that, so I thought it would be boring and besides, I prefer European history.

But I was wrong about all that. I made so many new friends this year and I loved all of my classes with the exception of sociology/comparative religions (only because we barely did anything and the teacher forced me to share my opinions even though it made me uncomfortable). I ended up loving having math first period. If I could go back and relive this year, but have the option to change up my schedule, I wouldn't change a thing. U.S. history turned out to be my favorite class. My teacher was absolutely amazing. She's encouraged me so much. I really, really needed that. English was a close second favorite. That teacher also encouraged me and made me feel special. She's the only English teacher I've had who's told me what I'm doing right as a writer rather than just pointing out my mistakes. I also loved chemistry. It was hard at first, but it got easy later on. My teacher told me how much I improved, which really meant a lot to hear.

I could go on forever, but I'll stop there. I'm actually a little sad that school's over. I don't want to be a senior... I'm so glad this year was so great. I'm so grateful for having such amazing teachers (with the exception of my Spanish teacher because we never did anything ugh) and I'm happy I made such great friends. There were bad points and good points, but overall, it's been a great year. <3
